E-Gambia is not a news outlet. This page is an editorial changelog — a record of when pages on the site were reviewed, rewritten, or added. If you spot something that needs correcting, please write to the address on the contact page.
The most recent editorial pass touched the whole site.
Every page on the site was reviewed for accuracy, generality, and clarity. Headers, footers, and navigation were unified. Placeholder forms and decorative third-party images were removed. New legal pages were added: privacy, terms, cookies, and a disclaimer. The travel, investment, and services pages were rewritten to be more useful as starting-point references. Several thin guide pages were expanded.
New guides were added to fill recurring gaps in the previous coverage: money and payments, getting around, languages and etiquette, health and safety, a Banjul city guide, and a dedicated birding guide.
A short summary of the editorial approach.
Each substantive page carries a "last reviewed" date and is checked at least once a year. Anything that is time-sensitive — visa rules, fees, opening hours — is left to the official source rather than copied here.
We avoid year-specific listings (festival schedules, room rates, exchange rates) because they rot quickly and become misleading. Where details do change, we link out to the institution that actually owns the answer.
